Our Story

It was December 2020 when a friendly young lad from the UK, and a quirky California girl met in the swamps of Central Florida.

He had his eye in the sky, literally, as he pursued his commercial pilot studies. While she, studying medicine in her busy schedule, still found a way to meet. After two months of conversing online, they met at the Orlando Eye, a Ferris wheel halfway between the two, for their first date.

They hit it off like two peas in a pod, not identical, but definitely complementary. They had late-night chats, cups of coffee, cans of Celsius, and board games galore; The two grew closer, began to cherish one another, and knew how much they meant to each other.

The duo turned ordinary days into extraordinary beginnings, realizing that they were starting on the effortless path of love. Their Milestones grew with time - Rika's graduation, Gaurang's Commercial Pilot license, first jobs, and getting their beloved pup, Auggie. As they progressed together, their affinity for each other grew stronger.

Gaurang started hinting about proposing, and started planning even with his hectic flight schedule. Miles high, up in the clouds he thought of the perfect proposal - on Rika's favourite SoCal beach with a backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. And then it happened, in the perfect setting - with Auggie by their side, and the November California sunset scenic view on Newport Beach.

She said YES!! The rest as they say (no matter how cheesy it is), is history.
